So Caleb says...

...Bush is going to lose.

And I think there's something to his confidence. I've had a feeling for around a month that confidence in the president is falling off rapidly and more and more people, including dyed-in-the-wool Republicans, are just sick and tired of him. I've also seen black clouds massing around him and even in his own speeches, he's starting to stumble and sound more and more like an idiot, like he's fulfilling some prophecy...

CXS Sims Skin

OK, found this VERY funny!

On the Cruxshadows download page, you can get a Cruxshadows skin for The Sims that basically lets you have a little Rogue running around inside the game. He he!

Example

I don't even DO the Sims but bwhahaha, that'd be funny! Man, and imagine if you had other imported characters, like (and I know lydia2600 is thinking it) David Bowie, Martin Gore... LOL, it'd be great to make them neighbors or something!

Boston Molasses Disaster

During Lunacon I remember regaling a bunch of people with a tale of the Boston Molasses Disaster, which is something I'd read about numerous times, being from Boston area and also having read a lot of books about weird disasters and ways to die (i.e. killed by a giant wave of molasses).

Anyway, I can't remember who the heck I was talking to, but in any case, here's some links for those who like the weird...

The Molasses Disaster of January 15, 1919

Oh, and a related link I found cool: Wicked Good Guide to Bizarro Boston.

P.S. Wicked Good is also the home of one of my favorite Boston-related things ever, the Wicked Good Guide to Boston English, which finally confirmed for me that YES, I do speak some Bostonese (like Hoodsie & of course "wicked"), although I do NOT say "bubbla" or "packy run," although I know what they are.
