Yow! Just woke up after conking out around 5:15. I am pretty sure I'm experiencing one of Lexapro's side effects. Prior to going on it, I would never ever take a nap unless I was sick, but now I seem to crash out mid-afternoon a couple of times a week. I'll just be sitting at my desk and think, "Man, forget it," walk to the bed, toss myself on it, and wake up an hour later. I guess this is why there's a warning label on that stuff saying to be careful operating heavy machinery.
Not that this napping really bothers me. I could use more sleep and if I'm sleepy my work would suck anyway. And then there's the fact the medication does seem to be working, since I feel a heck of a lot better and more functional. (As always, *knock on wood*.)
Ever since I woke up from my nap, I've been feeling out of it. For the past hour I've felt like I'm having another one of those dizzy spells. I'm not dizzy per se, but I feel that same sort of weakness and some nausea. Also I keep being so hungry, even though I've fixed myself food a few times thinking it would help. Just took some aspirin for my head. Maybe I'll have a strong cup of boillion -- it's what my mom always prescribed for this type of feeling. Either salt or sugar usually does the trick, for some strange reason, and since I don't seem to have any candy in the house...
OK, now I *am* dizzy. Just had that "rolling" feeling where you feeling like you're flipping over backwards inside your head. Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
