An oldie but a goodie

Embarrassing memory from sixth grade:

For a period of several months a long concrete block wall on the side of my elementary school kept getting graffiti treatment. The wall was right along the playground where the upper grades spent recess and did gym, so everybody would see the graffiti and talk about it. One day I was with my best friend Marialana and the topic came up. "Man, I really wonder who's doing that!" I turned to her, confused, and was like, "What do you mean? Obviously some guy named Led Zeppelin is tagging the school! What an idiot!"

It was at about that same age that I realized the Portland Trailblazers were not from Maine.

My mom would really be proud of me.

Whoa! You scored 9 Sluttiness Points and 23 Ethics Points! Interesting...
I'm not exactly sure why you bothered to take this test because you're obviously not a slut by any standard. On the other hand, you do seem to have a strong ethical code with regards to how you treat people. No matter where you fall on the slut spectrum through the years, your being considerate to others will keep you well and happy in the world.
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

- Prepared two packages
- Mailed all bill payments, invoices, and packages
- Picked up stack of edits on CAP site
- Enjoyed a frozen beverage

For this afternoon my goals are to:

- Do some site updates
- Continue work on TSW design document
- Do my work-out (1-1 1/2 hours)

New site on the way: Solo Design

I'm about to launch the redesign of one of my client's web sites.

Solo Design - NOW
I originally designed this site five years ago, as one of my first paid freelance jobs. The black & white design came directly from motifs designed by the client (a graphic designer). I adapted them into the Flash into and page layout.

Solo Design - SOON
The about-to-be-launched site. My client came up with the look, basically creating mock-ups of the home page, giving me the icons, color scheme, etc., and leaving it to me to figure out how to do it on the web. The Portfolio concept took a while, as there's some semi-tricky JavaScript involved and then all those images and captions, but I think it works.

The client will be getting back to me soon on this and then we'll launch.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh! The client just emailed me saying she needs to rethink the site, as it's not coming out as she'd like. She's a graphic designer and is, well, fussy as you'd expect her to be. She was very nice about it though and the good news is she says it's fine if I bill her for the full estimate -- even though she may have another designer work on it.
