No Jetlag for me?

I swear, jetlag has not happened to me this time. Saturday night, rather than falling asleep at 9, I was bouncy and alert 'til after midnight and after going to bed around 1, woke up at 9, rather than 5 a.m. or some other earlier time. Last night was similar; I was up until around midnight and then slept until 10! Not too groggy either. Weird.

3/5 Americans Want Next President To Be "Completely Different" From Bush...
Posted on December 5, 2005 at 6:27 AM.

Three in five Americans want the next U.S. president to be completely different from incumbent George W. Bush, according to a poll by Time magazine.

Bush's policies in Iraq and high gasoline and energy prices had a ``very negative'' effect on his overall job rating for 45 percent of respondents, according to the poll, conducted between Nov. 29 and Dec. 1. The results showed 36 percent would like the next president to have policies similar to those of Bush, compared with 60 percent who want a different type of leader.

Now were that the Democrats could produce a top-notch, electable leader who could take advantage of these sentiments!

London Pics - Streets & Pigeons

Ah, so I have a few from London as well. Mostly a set of shots of some hilarious pigeon action (think: The Birds) in Trafalgar Square, but a few other things as well. Like I've said before, no use taking pictures after a certain point, if you've visited somewhere many, many times. I see myself more as a traveler than "tourist" anyway.

Pounce! Ack! Didn't catch it!

Today I got Luckie's rabies tag in the mail. I dutily attached it to her collar. Well, seems that the shiny steel tag didn't really make an impression on her until just now she disovered that when my desklamp shines on in... it makes crazy light reflections on the floor. So Luckie is currently sitting in the entrance to my office freaking out over this wavering apparition. LOL. If it really bugs her I will take the tag off and put it somewhere for safe keeping. I like having the collar on her so I can hear her, but it already has name/city/phone so that's enough ID.

In the meantime I set up a vet appt. for January. She needs to get spayed. The appt. I set up is for a general check-up, since I'm going to a new vet and they want to check her over beforehand.
