sideview, obamame_sideview

As I've noted here a couple of times, I *LOVE* Morrissey's latest album, Ringleader of the Tormentors, and hope so bad he comes to Atlanta again so I can see him. Well, checking up on the web site, there's a vid for "You Have Killed Me." I think it's a TV performance done for Spanish TV?! Anyway, if you've never seen Morrissey live, here's your chance... sort of. One hilarious thing is, God, his incredibly fagito gestures, which you can't miss when you see him live -- he's waving his arms and posing and pouting the whole time. In fact, he's like a gay lounge singer. The link: http://www.morrisseymusic.com.

New clothes

So I went shopping again. Except for needing a camesol and some new bras and such, I am caught up as far as getting clothes for my job and/or updating my wardrobe, which, in relative terms, was getting damn tired.

Today after my client meeting in Midtown, I went over to Dillard's (my new fav dept. store) and once again executed a thorough search of the sales racks and got major, major deals. Got *seven* pieces -- 3 skirts, pants, a jacket, and 2 tops -- for $150, with average price $15-20 in a department store. And only one of the items is black!

Since getting a job and realizing the need for clothes, I've bought 6 new skirts, 8 tops, a jacket, a silver raincoat, pants, a sports bra, and a pair of shoes. 2 pairs of glasses as well. Errr... I think that's about all. And that will BE all, since this is really just all pent up shopmania. Now I have clothes for work that are chic and different and flattering. I'll save the overly tight "ho" outfits for after work ;)
