Friday High Fives

Me so happy, plus I've had some hard cider, so...

from fridayfiver

1. What's your favorite game show to watch?
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? or Weakest Link. I also adore the intellectual game shows in England, where the game is wits and brains, not chance or trivia.

2. What game show would you like to be on?
Either of two I just named, or Jeopardy!

3. Do you know anyone who has been on a game show?
Not offhand.

4. What do you think the worst game show is?
Wheel of Fortune. SO SO SO lame.

5. Bob Barker, Howie Mandel or Alex Trebek?
Bob Barker, for several reasons, including fact he stopped dyeing his hair and he plugs spaying & neutering.

1. What do you like most: Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays (and why)?
Saturdays, because that's the one day a week I normally am totally away from work and do fun stuff, like going to the movies, cooking nice dinner, going shopping, etc.. Friday I'm normally working and Sunday too, as I have a consulting business and other pans on the stove I need to keep from burning, so to speak.

2. What was the best weekend of your life?
Caleb and I have done several great weekend trips. The trip we made to Munich a couple of years ago was only a couple of days but it was fantastic.

3. What weekend of the year is your favorite?
Any long weekend I go and visit my family in Massachusetts. I either go Memorial Day or Labor Day.

4. Do you have any weekend routines?
Yes. Almost every Saturday night the boys come over to watch the Sci Fi Channel movie of the week (or if it's just too awful, whatever else is one) and on Saturday or Sunday morning we all go out to breakfast together, usually at Alon's Bakery but also at Cafe Alsace, Javaology, Star Provisions, etc. Basically we spend "quality time" together, as a "family" :)

5. Describe your ideal Saturday night.
Nice home-prepared meal, dessert, watching a good movie.

Buoyancy

For two weeks after my appt. at Emory, I was keeping a daily depression log here on LJ, marked private, but for the past week I've stopped. Why? Every day is an 8 or 9 instead of a 3 now. Also I'm too busy to remember to log. But really I feel so much better. And hey, now I can go to my appt. during my lunch hour at work, as there's a shuttle running right from my office to the clinic. I think my appt. is next week. Boy, is the doctor going to be pleasantly surprised to learn I now work for Emory, a job I probably couldn't have gotten (or handled) in the state I was in last month.
