So tonight Daniel and I went and checked out 80s Trivia Night at Slice and, not really to MY surprise, our team won. It wasn't just Daniel and I, it was Chris and Erin, another woman, and David, who showed up at the end. I think I deserved the MVP, because I came up with a lot of right answers. Daniel got a few, too, including the fact that Prince actually wrote "Manic Monday." (I never knew that, but as soon as he said it, I agreed it did kind of sound like him.) I got to keep the $20 Slice card we won, so we'll be back next week using it to get a free pizza and beer when we win again :)

Afterward Daniel, David and I went over Caleb's to visit Sofi. David had to leave after a bit so Daniel and I played kitty games and tried to get her tired down for Caleb, who was driving back from Alabaster, Alabama, and needs to be able to sleep today. Meanwhile, inspired by all the 80s music at trivia, I put on Big Chair, that awesome Tears for Fears album, which in turn inspired me to visit YouTube, where I found one of the most sincere 80s music videos I can remember:

Trivia fact: That album is mostly all about Primal Scream Therapy, which both band members had gone through. Once you know that, it all makes sense.

Morose and lethargic?

I've been drawing this same picture since I was a kid. It's just sort of iconic. I fed it to this test thingy:
