From thefridayfive:

1. Remember the scene with Molly Ringwald putting lipstick on by holding it in her cleavage? Name one really bizarre thing you know how to do. No matter how small.
I talk to animals -- any animal -- I run across. Not just dogs and cats either, but squirrels, birds, bugs, lizards, and whatever else. I'll do it sometimes when I'm in my neighborhood and have caught people looking at me because, well, I just was friendly to a pigeon. Or I'll be here on campus and stop in my tracks to watch adn talk to a chipmunk. Just seems natural to say hello.

2. What's your favourite way to pass the time?
Crossword puzzles. I usually do 2-3 a day. I can do them standing up, sitting on a bus, in bed, wherever.

3. What's your favourite restaurant and why?
Baraonda here in Atlanta. It does perfect Italian food, has a great location, great service, nice ambience, splendidly reasonable prices and the manager often sends me (a fav customer) free dessert. It's perfect!

4. Which TV/Radio show did you like that's not aired any more?
"Mother Love," a daytime talk show starring... Mother Love. It was all about people reconciling and it really was about that, not about fights or controversy like Jerry Springer. I watched it during lunch when I worked for the State of Georgia and could come home for lunch and I kid you not I'd cry sometimes.

5. if you had a choice of learning another new language, what would you choose? what do you think that reflects about you?
At the moment I'd like to learn French, esp. the Canadian version, so I could consider moving to Montreal. What does this say about me? I want to move to Europe, but not be that far away.

From fridayfiver

1. Are you attracted to the naughty or the nice?
Oh, both, both! I'm interested in all kinds of naughty, violent, gross stuff that some would find repulsive and repugnant, but I also love little furry animals, babies, baking cookies, volunteering for charity, etc.

2. Do you let your dirty laundry pile up?
Not really... It's more like my *clean* laundry. I'll do 6 loads and then just pile them all over the floor because I'm too tired to bother hanging them all up in my closets. I say I'll do that the next day, but I don't, so the floor becomes a closet. Then I pull my clothes from there to wear and if they're still clean after, I put them back in the pile. I tend to put all my truly dirty clothes in a bag in the washing closet.

3. What's the last excuse you made?
I've been making quite a few lately, so hard to remember.

4. Do you play it safe or do you take risks?
I think I'm pretty pragmatic, so the answer is I do both.

5. Friday fill-in:
Let's go to ____ and ____.
Let's go to Petsmart and look at cute adoptable cats!
