Andover updates

Today's my last day here (ever?) and I have to say, things have been going well.

Yesterday I slept super late, so by the time Dee called to say she was coming over, it was 11 and I was still in bed! Oops! I managed to get showered and ready quickly, however, and she visited for a couple of hours. We all had lunch outside on the patio. Dee showed me a photo album she'd brought, which was a good way to catch up.

After she left, Mom, Dad and I packed up and went out to Marblehead. Mom and I went to this wonderful consignment shop we love, Paris Flea Market, and as usual I came away with a piece of jewelry. Then we drove out to, um Marblehead *Head* I guess, where there's a lovely ocean-front park, and sat there watching the saiboats and lobsterboats and seabirds. It was really nice weather.

On the way home we stopped at this old-fashioned ice cream place and got "small" ice creams that were *huge* -- so big we had to sit in the car to eat them because no way could we drive or even do our seatbelts which holding them :) We drove back and after a quick stop at a grocery store for canned clams, we got back and I made pasta and clams for dinner. I was very, very tired, however, so afterward I konked out. I slept from 8 to midnight, woke up long enough to change my clothes and brush my teeth, then slept until 8. The zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's were much needed!

Today I'm going to go up in the attic to see what else is there I might like. Also going to go somewhere that has a photo scanner, hopefully. I also have to pack everything, which I think I can. I brought an extra piece of luggage.
