How Death Feels and Other Death Stuff

This New Scientist article is fascinating:

I love how it's just so matter of fact. There are some colorful possibilities left out of the list of ways to die, but it does cover a lot.

When I was in 6th grade and was asked to do my first real research report, I came to my teacher wanting to do one on bodily decomposition after death. He wasn't too taken aback, because (so I guess) he expected something weird from me, but talked me out of it, saying that because I had to give an oral presentation, it would disturb the other students. Still, the idea of fingernails growing after death and rigor mortis is pretty awesome. I now watch Dr. G: Medical Examiner and Skeleton Stories and love it. Friends think it's way too gruesome and makes them nauseous, but I can totally eat dinner while seeing somebody saw off a scull cap.
