Imagine a world without Star Trek. Is it a world you'd be very happy to live in, or a dark and terrible place?
My blood was infused with heavy doses of Star Trek in the womb. My parents and siblings were fans of the original show at the time it aired and kept right on watching as soon as it started up in reruns. I can't remember a world without Spock.
Later I was a crazy TNG fan and would watch up to 4 episodes a day, thanks to the fun of serialization and reruns. To this day, I can identify episodes from just 2-sec. clips.
I watched the series that followed as well, but not as much. Liked DS9 until around the time Worf came on board and it was all about the Dominion. Voyager I always thought was kind of dumb and Enterprise could have been OK but it was overly hokey and ugh, Scott Bakula seriously needs to learn how to act.
